Montreal first baseman Jim Wilkes was sensational. He slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Fremont beat the Canadiens, 12-11. The winner was Stuart Taylor in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Josh Glanzmann took the loss. The Canadiens fall to 7-15.

David Hollick was the walk-off hero for Fremont. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Marshalls designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Montreal manager expressed his frustration after the game: "That many runs and it still wasn't enough?"
