The Portland Mad Ants stymied the Chesapeake Tailgators, 6-1, at Mad Ants Ballpark. Felipe Hinojos had a good day at the plate. He went 2-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for Portland. Portland pitcher Matt Parsons got the win. He's now 3-1. Melvin Gamboa was tagged with the loss. Chesapeake falls to 10-14.

Portland took a 6-1 lead on Hinojos's 6th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off George Sisco in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Portland to the win.
