Tailgators Ballpark was the site of a competitive game between the Chesapeake Tailgators and Nashville Lasers.

Chesapeake got a big-time effort from pitcher Jaden Mack, but it wasn't enough to keep the Nashville Lasers from winning the game, 5-3. Mack threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Nashville reliever David Bernal picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Cory Gregerson absorbed the loss. Earning his 4th save for Nashville was Arnold Novak.

Nashville used a timely hit from Jeremy Brunson to get the win. The right fielder delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Lasers on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was huge.

When asked about his performance after the game, Brunson said: "Like everyone else, I'm just doing my job."

The loss drops Chesapeake to 12-11.
