Pryor Leads Ghosts to Win
|
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 26-year old second baseman Corey Pryor, the Laredo Ghosts defeated the Montreal Canadiens, 7-0. The Ghosts keep rolling, raising their record to 12-6.
With Laredo leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Pryor batted against Montreal pitcher Chris Wyzard. Pryor hit a fastball to left-center for a solo home run. His 2nd home run of the season put the Ghosts on top, 2-0.
"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Pryor.
