Lubbock third baseman Roberto Perez had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Nashville Lasers, 7-5. Picking up the save was 31-year old left-handed pitcher Nick Wolfe. With the loss, Nashville drops to 9-8.

With Lubbock leading 4-3 in the bottom of the fifth, Jason Ramsey hit a run-scoring single off Nashville pitcher Jaden Melrose. It put the Stampede ahead 5-3.

Ramsey told a Lubbock Bulletin reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
