The Fremont Marshalls downed the Joilet Jesters, 7-5, at Hedgehogs Park. The Marshalls were led by J.R. Daniels. Daniels was 3-4 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Jon Kwait, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-0. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3.1 innings. Ruben Torres earned the save for Fremont, his 2nd of the year.

Daniels had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the second inning, when he hit a 2-run triple. The Marshalls went on to win.

"Nice to keep stacking the wins," said Daniels.

At 13-4, the 2025 Marshalls have been excellent so far.
