The Glendale Muskies beat the Laredo Ghosts by a score of 7-4. Glendale right fielder Jesse Reimann deserved the lion's share of the credit. Reimann was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Muskies. Glendale reliever Mike Gibson was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Jim Unknown took the loss. The Ghosts drop to 6-12, as their fitful start to the 2026 campaign continues.
Glendale used a clutch hit from Alex Cruz to get the win. The pinch hitter drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Muskies ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a doozy.
"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Reimann. "You've got to get results."
