Riding the 4-hit performance of right fielder Rich Cloutier, the Quebec Aces stopped the visiting Baxter Springs Marshals, 6-2, in Game 2 of the World Series. Cloutier was 4 for 4 with 4 singles, while scoring 3 times for the Aces, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 0.

Pete Horne went 1-3. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Quebec. With one out and the game tied in the bottom of the sixth inning, Horne, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2020 draft, had a clutch at-bat. Facing Baxter Springs hurler Daniel Gilles, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the Aces a 3-2 lead.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Horne.
