Glendale wasted a solid 8-inning effort from starting pitcher Terry Droubay, losing to Laredo, 2-1, at Ghosts Ballpark. Laredo now has a record of 6-10.

When he batted in the bottom of the tenth, Andy Pabon had a golden opportunity to change the game's outcome. Glendale pitcher Karl Bradberry was determined not to let him. But with no outs, Pabon hit a sacrifice fly -- and the Ghosts had a suspense-filled triumph.

"It wasn't easy, but we got it done," said Pabon.
