Aces Prevail, as League Championship Series Goes to the Wire
In an exciting League Championship Series that had its fair share of drama and intrigue, perhaps it is ABA Development League fans who have come out the winner.

But on the field, the winners were the Quebec Aces, who edged the Orono Oaks 4-3 to advance to the World Series.

Quebec won the final game by a 3-2 count to wrap up the series. Willie Alvarez earned series MVP honors, by hitting .391 with a .391 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 1 RBI and scored 0 runs.

The Quebec Aces will play against the Baxter Springs Marshals in the next round. Baxter Springs won their series against the Hartford Matadors 4 games to 3. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
