Road Win Lifts Orono to 2-1 Lead in CS
The Orono Oaks got an exceptional performance from starter Chris Hawes, who silenced the Quebec offense en route to a 4-0 shutout win in Game 3 of the League Championship Series. The Aces could never get a bead on the right-handed Hawes, who threw 8.0 innings of shutout ball. The Oaks now hold a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-7 series.

Chris Hawes was masterful. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8 innings.

"Chris did a tremendous job," said Orono manager Mike Barriga.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Belmont Park in Quebec City.
