The Wichita Panthers downed the Niskayuna Fighting Knights, 12-3, at Panthers Park. Joe Gilbreath led the way, going 3-for-5 for Wichita. The win makes Wichita 74-66.

Gilbreath made an early impact for Wichita when he stroked his 20th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came in the bottom of the first, put the Panthers on top, 3-0.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Gilbreath said. "We did a good job of that today."
