Fighting Knights Earn Late Win
Niskayuna beat Wichita at Panthers Park, escaping with a 7-6 win. The win in large part was due to second baseman Ronald Poole. He went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Niskayuna currently is in last place in the Sub League 2 East Division at 67-72.

Niskayuna used a clutch hit from Jeremias Vega to get the win. The shortstop drilled a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Fighting Knights ahead, 7-6. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Poole, "but we got it done."
