Crawdads Dominate, Sweep League Championship Series
With a 2-1 win to wrap up the series at Crawdad Park, the Hickory Crawdads have eliminated the Palm Springs Heat in the League Championship Series and move on to the World Series.

Hickory controlled the series from the outset and won it in a 4-0 sweep.

Isaiah Goulbourne led the charge offensively for the victors, winning series MVP honors. He posted a .357 batting average, along with a .357 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 2 runs.

"We're not done yet," the MVP said. "There is still a lot to accomplish."

The Hickory Crawdads don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Montreal Royals - Nashville Lasers series. Montreal leads the series 2 games to 0. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
