Nashville Breaks Through for First Win in League Championship Series; Now Trails 3-1
Already down in the League Championship Series, the Nashville Lasers put on their best show, beating the Montreal Royals by a final score of 2-1. Mark Stuart was special. He threw 7.2 innings of 3-hit ball. Nashville now trails Montreal 3-1 in the best-of-7 affair.

Nashville used the hitting of Hector Landa to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a solo home run in the top of the third inning to put the Lasers on top, 2-0. For the game, Landa had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Our pitching was the difference tonight," Landa said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Turtles Ballpark in Montreal.
