Lewis, Super Troopers Take Dramatic Game 1 for 1-0 Series Lead
The Santa Barbara Super Troopers took the first game of the League Championship Series in dramatic fashion, topping the Sikeston Shamrocks, 6-4, in an extra-inning walk-off win. Super Troopers left fielder Jonathan Lewis went 3 for 5 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the 18th for Santa Barbara. That's when 21-year old left fielder Jordan McPherson hit a 2-run home run off Phil Armstrong to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"It was terrific getting this win," Lewis said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Car Ramrod Park in Santa Barbara.
