The St. Catharines Blue Jays have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Glace Bay Miners, winning, 10-2, at Engineers Ballpark. Blue Jays second baseman Jesse Stopper went 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. The win cuts the deficit facing the Blue Jays to 2-1 in the best-of-7 League Championship Series.
