League Championship Series Game 1 Victory for Valentin and Glace Bay
The League Championship Series got off to a quiet start, with the host Glace Bay Miners taking a low-scoring, 3-0 win over the St. Catharines Blue Jays. Glace Bay right-hander Omar Valentin was marvelous at Miners Memorial Park. The Miners now hold a 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.
