Oaks Hammered by Massey, Drop Game 4 to Bruins
On the verge of being swept and facing a red-hot Orono Oaks team, the Westwood Bruins had a tough assignment. Brian Massey delivered.

The Bruins designated hitter was unstoppable for the visitors, as he went 1 for 2 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 in guiding his club to its first victory of the series, 5-0. Massey, 28, earned accolades for his efforts. The win means Westwood now trails 3-1 in the best-of-7 series.

Tim Schellin, the Westwood right fielder, contributed a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fourth inning to make the score 2-0, Bruins. For the game, Schellin went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Orono manager Mike Barriga.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Jackie Robinson Stadium in Randolph.
