					| The Chesapeake Tailgators routed the Nashville Lasers, 16-1, at Lasers Ballpark. Josh Elder  was one of the hitting stars. He was 3-5 with a home run, a double,  and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for Chesapeake. Dylan Bibbs, who is rated as the 63rd best prospect by BNN, was the winning pitcher. Over 7 innings, he allowed 1 run on 5 hits, with no walks and 6 strikeouts. Nashville falls to 8-6. 
 Chesapeake used the hitting of Mark Riley to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the second inning to put the Tailgators on top, 5-0. For the game, Riley had 1 home run and 1 single in 6 at-bats.
