The Mexico City Aztecs and the Pueblo Heroes will take the Division Series to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation, the Aztecs beat the Heroes, 18-7, at Tony Gwynn Stadium to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Mexico City second baseman Josh Townsend was 4-6 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 5.

In the bottom of the fifth, Mexico City designated hitter Jamie Zepeda had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Zepeda stroked a 2-run single to right. It made the score 8-6, Mexico City. For the game, he went 3 for 5 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Zepeda.
