Nationals Move on to World Series
With a 9-8 victory at Nationals Park, the Jacksonville Nationals have completed a sweep of the Ft. Wayne Earthquakes in the League Championship Series.

"On to the World Series and feeling good," said Jimmy Johnson. "I don't think our guys expected a sweep, but we'll certainly take it and rest up a bit."

For the series, Johnson hit .600 and won series MVP honors. He had 1 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 6 runs.

The Jacksonville Nationals will play against the Moncton Mounties in the next round. Moncton won their series against the Whitby Bats 4 games to 1. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
