Aztecs Clip Heroes, 2-1, in DS Contest
The Mexico City Aztecs defeated the Pueblo Heroes, 2-1, in Game 2 of the Division Series. Doing his part was starter Ramon Rivera, who threw 6.1 innings allowing 1 run. The win moves Mexico City into a 1-1 tie with Pueblo in the series.

Eric Propper helped out the Mexico City cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the first baseman was 1 for 2 with a walk.

"Tough loss," said Pueblo manager Jeremiah Simpson. "The kind that burns a little inside."

The next game is set to be played for Tuesday, September 15th , 2026 at Heroes Ballpark in Pueblo.
