The Anaheim Music beat the Montgomery Missions by a score of 6-4. Anaheim left fielder Chris Shamblen deserved the lion's share of the credit. Shamblen went 2-3 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Music. The victory puts Anaheim at 48-71.

Shamblen had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 0-1 fastball from Josh Howard, he banged a solo home run to left-center, giving the Music a 3-2 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Shamblen.
