Rockets Rally Past Miners for 1-0 Series Lead
The Huntsville Rockets took the first game of the Division Series in dramatic fashion, topping the Glace Bay Miners with a ninth-inning, walk-off, 1-0 shutout victory. Rockets pitcher Michael Harkins threw 6.2 innings of shutout ball.


With the game on the line, Jose Ramos came to bat in the bottom of the ninth. And the Huntsville designated hitter came through, cracking a run-scoring single off Joel Edmondson, the Glace Bay pitcher.

"I felt good. I felt like I was locating the ball well and I was able to keep them off-balance," said Harkins.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of Austin in Huntsville.
