Dollywood starter Chris Welch turned in an exceptional performance and got some last-minute help as the Partons forced the League Championship Series into a decisive Game 7. The left-handed Welch threw 5.1 innings of shutout ball in a must-win situation against the Barrie Admirals, keeping Dollywood close enough to take the 4-3 victory on a 9th-inning walk-off. The winner of the series will advance to the World Series.

Roberto Ramirez was the walk-off hero for Dollywood. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Partons third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"What an ending!" said a jubilant Welch.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Dolly Parton Ballpark in Pigeon Forge.
