Glendale Wins, 3-1
|
Glendale Muskies pitcher Josh Hamilton was in top form, leading his team past the Nashville Lasers, 3-1. John Landgren finished the game for Glendale and earned his 5th save. With the win, Glendale improves its record to 10-4.
Glendale won the game in part because of Kyle McKinney. The designated hitter ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Muskies ahead, 2-1. For the game, McKinney had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Hamilton.
