The Glendale Muskies used the hitting of right fielder Jesse Reimann to subdue the Fremont Marshalls, 9-5. For the game, Reimann was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Dave Vondrasek claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3.1 innings. His record stands at 2-0. The loss drops the Marshalls to 5-7.
Kevin Harris had a clutch at-bat with one out in the top of the sixth for the Muskies. Coming up with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Glendale trailing 5-4, he hit a 2-run single.
"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," Reimann told the Glendale Gazette.
