Hartford Rallies for 7-5 Victory
The Hartford Matadors knocked off the Laredo Ghosts, 7-5, in Stars Conference action at Ballpark of Tacoma. Hartford pitcher and Irvine, California, native Scott Johnson had an outstanding performance. Hartford goes to 7-4 with the win.

In the bottom of the eighth, Hartford pinch hitter Eric Clayton gave his team the lead. With two out and the bases loaded, Livewire hit his 2nd double of the year. Laredo pitcher Joe McLaughlin surrendered it. With that, the Matadors jumped in front, 7-5.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Clayton told the Hartford Bulletin.
