A good time was had by all at Hedgehogs Park, where the Montreal Canadiens and Fremont Marshalls tangled.

Hurler Terence Rodda gave the Fremont Marshalls a solid start. The native of Farmington, Missouri helped his team defeat the Montreal Canadiens, 3-2, at Hedgehogs Park. Jon Kwait snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-0 on the season. Felix Marquez suffered the loss. Ruben Torres picked up his 1st save of the season.

Mario Aguiluz helped out the Fremont cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the third baseman went 1-4.

Aguiluz told a Fremont Citizen reporter he was "pleased as punch" with the win.

The Canadiens fall to 4-8 and continue their lackluster start to the 2025 season.
