Lasers Rally to Nose Past Chesapeake
|
No one was more impactful than Hector Landa in the 5-4 Nashville win over Chesapeake. Landa, the 20th overall pick in the 2022 draft, hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The loss drops Chesapeake to 4-6.
Landa delivered in the clutch for Nashville. In the bottom of the tenth, he took a 2-0 fastball from Chesapeake pitcher John Gray and parked it over the fence. The solo home run won it for Nashville.
"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Landa.
