Bryson, Mad Ants March to 5-2 Victory
|
The 5-2 Portland win over Joilet was due in large part to Danny Bryson. The Mad Ants left fielder went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The winner in relief was Junior Millner. He is now 1-0. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings. With the loss, Joilet drops to 4-2.
Early in the game, Bryson had a 2-run home run for Portland. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Mad Ants on top, 2-0.
