Ruiz Shines in 4-3 Lubbock Win
The Lubbock Stampede dealt the Montreal Royals a 4-3 loss at Turtles Ballpark. Jesus Ruiz was the star on offense. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Miguel Aguirre claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record stands at 1-0. The win moves Lubbock to a record of 3-2.

Ruiz had a timely hit for Lubbock in the top of the ninth. With Lubbock trailing 3-2, he turned a first pitch sinker into a 2-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season, making it 4-3, Lubbock.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Ruiz told the Lubbock News.
