Baxter Springs third baseman Kevin Davis helped his team beat the Portland Mad Ants, 6-4. Davis, the 7th overall pick in the 2020 draft, went 2 for 4 for the Marshals. Steve Dunham picked up the win with 5.1 innings of work. He allowed 3 runs on 8 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 5. On the season, he is now 1-0. The win gives Baxter Springs a record of 2-2.

Early in the game, Davis had a 3-run home run for Baxter Springs. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Marshals on top, 6-3.
