The Glendale Muskies got a rain-soaked win over the Portland Mad Ants.

Glendale Muskies starter Dustin Abbott pitched a strong game against the Portland Mad Ants at Mad Ants Ballpark, leading the Muskies to victory, 5-0. Bob Luse earned the save for Glendale, his 1st of the year.

Glendale used a well-timed hit by Javy Villapando to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Muskies ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Enjoyed this one," Villapando told the Glendale Gazette. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
