Muskies Sink Ghosts, 6-2

The Glendale Muskies grabbed a win, 6-2, over the Laredo Ghosts at Field of the Muskies. Glendale designated hitter Tyler Miles was 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. John Landgren recorded the save, his 1st. Glendale is now 1-1.
Dave Maffei had a big 2-run double for the Muskies in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Glendale leading 3-2 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 19-year old right-handed pitcher Jason Emary and swatted a double to left. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Muskies ahead, 5-2.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Maffei.
