Treadwell Plays Big Role in San Francisco Win
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the San Francisco Fire and the Syracuse Scorpions, 28-year old right-handed pitcher Everett Treadwell was the difference-maker. The San Francisco right-hander spearheaded the 1-0 win. Gabe Sprung notched his 1st save in 1 chances. The win makes San Francisco 41-54.
Treadwell yielded no runs on 5 hits over 8 innings for the Fire. For the season, Treadwell has a record of 1-3 with 29 strikeouts.
"Everett had good stuff. When he did get into a compromising count, he made the most of it," said San Francisco manager Chris Ware.
