With second baseman Joe Corcoran leading the charge, the Moncton Mounties got a road win over the Buffalo Bellflowers, 9-1, in Game 2 of the Division Series. Corcoran went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 at Wegman's Field to help Moncton take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Corcoran had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth to put Moncton in front, 9-0. With the bases loaded, he hit a grand slam home run off Buffalo pitcher Jesus Beltre.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Corcoran.

The next game is set to be played for Sunday, September 15th , 2024 at Mapleton Yards in Moncton.
