The Hideout was the site of a tense game between the New York Nightmare and Chicago Gangsters.

In a well-pitched game between the Chicago Gangsters and the New York Nightmare, pitcher Josh Wilkes was superb. The Chicago left-hander helped his team win, 2-1. Ryan Barber earned his 4th save, after closing out the game.

Wilkes tossed 96 pitches over 7.1 innings to clinch the win for the Gangsters. The left-hander allowed just 3 hits, while racking up 12 strikeouts in the game.

"Josh pitched his heart out," said Chicago manager Antonio Valdez.

With the win, the Gangsters have a record of 32-56.
