Leyritana Rips South Pasadena for 5 Hits Friday, April 26th , 2024 It was a sensational day at the plate for Rovilson Leyritana as he led the charge to a nifty 17-6 win over the Air Riders. The Newport News shortstop was pure misery for the South Pasadena pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Leyritana put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Nate West, manager for the Air Riders, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Rovilson Leyritana singled in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Tyler Murphy in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 5th and singled in the 7th.
