Sisson Cracks 5 Hits Sunday, April 12th , 2026 It was a good day for the Missions at Miners Ballpark as they clipped the Carson City Miners, 12-9. It was tremendous day for Mike Sisson, who was on a hitting barrage at the plate, finishing 5-for-5. "I don't know what to call that," the Montgomery first baseman told reporters after his big performance. "I'm not 'dialed in' or 'in a zone,' I just try to keep it simple. Basically the pitcher throws the ball, I try to pick up the spin, then I hit it. Today I picked up the spin pretty well." Mike Sisson walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Ricky Escobar in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Josh Weakley in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a three-run double in the 9th.
