Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Paints
In a low-scoring tilt between the Aurora Paints and the Medford Desperados, 20-year old left-handed pitcher Matthew Davi was the difference-maker. The Aurora left-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. Francisco Quintero snagged the win in relief. He goes to 2-15 on the season. Juan Mejia suffered the loss. The last-place Paints sport a record of 44-80.

Bob Mauser was the walk-off hero for Aurora. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Paints pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said Davi. "Successful pitchers do it."
