Barnes Belts Bunch of Base Hits Sunday, April 12th , 2026 The Golden Gophers downed the Hex, 9-1, at Little Rock Grounds as Bobby Barnes exploded for 5 hits. "A couple times, I got a pretty good pitch to hit," the Little Rock first baseman told reporters in the postgame interview. "A couple times, I had to work for it. But I think they underestimated my abilities." Bobby Barnes singled in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
