Little Rock Wins Division Series
Tuesday, September 16th , 2025
The Little Rock Golden Gophers said they felt the Division Series with the Ottawa Lynx would go the distance.
But it didn't end up being that difficult, as Little Rock advanced to the League Championship Series with a 15-11 score, to clinch the series 4-1 at Rivermen Ballpark.
"Whether it goes to the final game or not, we faced a good team and got the job done. It's a big momentum boost for us," said Matt Dean, who was named series MVP. "We're all feeling good about our chances to win the World Series."
For the series, Dean hit .542 with a .560 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 14 RBI and scored 6 runs.
The Little Rock Golden Gophers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Santa Ana Black Aces - Medford Desperados series. Santa Ana leads the series 3 games to 2. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.
