Panthers Move on to League Championship Series Saturday, September 19th , 2026 When the entire season comes down to one game, Jim Cook said you find out what a team is really about. As it turns out, the Wichita Panthers are made of fight and tenacity, as the team got by the Santa Barbara Super Troopers 10-1 tonight at Car Ramrod Park in order to win the Division Series and book a place in the next round. "It wasn't hard to get excited for this game," said Cook, whose strong offensive output earned him MVP honors. "Our guys answered the call and proved a lot about what our team is all about." Cook hit .469 with a .514 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Wichita Panthers will play against the Newport News Wranglers in the next round.
