Propper, Super Troopers Sink Cyclones Again in Game 2
As the Santa Barbara Super Troopers and Mt. Vernon Cyclones battled through extra innings, it was a rookie who made the difference.

Young Santa Barbara third baseman Eric Propper, 22 led the way with a strong hitting performance in the 13-inning marathon. Propper went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once during the 7-5 Santa Barbara win over the Cyclones. The win gives the Super Troopers a 2-0 lead in the best-of-7 Division Series.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jaden Williams in the bottom of the 13th when he hit a 2-run home run off 21-year old right-handed pitcher Dara Qutaiba to win the game for Santa Barbara. The home crowd went nuts.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Williams.

The next game is set to be played for Saturday, September 13th , 2025 at Mt. Vernon Grounds in Mt. Vernon.
