Adam Bangs Out 5 Base Hits

Paul Adam was sizzling at the plate. In a game played at Wranglers Stadium, the Montgomery second baseman blistered the Newport News Wranglers for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace his club to a good 26-6 victory.
"Adam was too tough to get out," Wranglers skipper Chris Rice said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
Paul Adam singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, was hit by a pitch in the 5th, struck out in the 6th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
In 90 games this year, Adam has posted a .324 average and put up these numbers: 7 home runs, 36 RBIs and 47 runs scored.
