Jammers Ellerbrock Smacks 5 Hits
Wednesday, August 6th , 2025
The Julian Jammers stopped the Tacoma Thunder Wolves by a score of 27-25 at Thunder Wolves Stadium, with the lion's share of the credit going to first baseman Jake Ellerbrock. The 21-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits.
"Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Ellerbrock said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard."
Ellerbrock did just that in his 5 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Thunder Wolves.
"Not much that I can say," offered Tacoma manager Alfonso Estrada. "He just hammered the heck out of us."
Jake Ellerbrock hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, walked in the 6th and tripled in the 7th.
Ellerbrock is currently hitting at a .346 pace with 13 home runs and 45 RBIs.
