Morales Gets 5 Hits Tuesday, August 27th , 2024 Alejandro Morales exploded for a barrage of base hits at Car Ramrod Park. The Santa Barbara left fielder had a field day in his team's 21-10 triumph over the Ontario Sunrays, finishing 5-for-6. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Morales must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Alejandro Morales hit a solo-shot off Pat Potter in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Juan Galvan in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 7th.
