Wagner Blisters South Pasadena Tuesday, July 30th , 2024 It was a parade of hits for Doug Wagner of the Santa Barbara Super Troopers at Air Riders Ballpark. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Wagner finished the day with a total of 6 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Super Troopers to a win, 18-3. "Wagner was really good and we were really bad," groaned Air Riders manager Nate West. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Doug Wagner hit a two-run single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
