Sunrays Earn Win with Late Rally
Sunrays Field was the site of quite a ballgame.

In a tight contest at Sunrays Field, the Ontario Sunrays edged the Anaheim Music by the score of 7-6. Ontario first baseman Trent Slagle, who blasted 2 home runs, was a key contributor. Ontario currently is in 4th place in the Sub League 2 Central Division at 51-73.

Daniel Mikel was the walk-off hero for Ontario. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Sunrays left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Anaheim manager Ed Arroyo. "But we decided not to take it."
