Jammers Pitching Ravaged by Poole Monday, July 1st , 2024 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Aurora's Darius Poole made it happen against the Jammers. Everything came together at the plate for the 20-year-old second baseman as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and helped the Paints triumph, 24-1, at Paints Park. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Poole said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Darius Poole grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 7th.
